mp3 players can you download cd's

i have been given an mp3 player, can i download my music from my pc to this or do i have to convert the file and so how. Thanks

if you have windows xp then you should have media player. if you insert a cd into the computer it should automatically open up media and you just have to plug your mp3 player in to the computer. If you press the button copy to portable device (mp3) it will copy the music on to it. i hope that has helped a little. I managed to do it and i dont know much about things like that!

Look on the Internet for a program called 'cdex' - simple, free program to 'rip' CDs to mp3. You could also look at MusicMatch Jukebox - my favourite. If you already have mp3 files on your PC, all you need to do is drag them across to your mp3 player once it's connected. Have fun!
