Does anyone remember this band from around 1980 - 1981?? They did an excellent album on Virgin called 'Distinguishing Marks',which didn't have a bad track on it.Bulletproof Heart,Yes Eyes,Remorse Code,etc...I think Jimmie O'Niell And Cha Burns went on to form the Silencers.

The first CD single I ever bought was �Bulletproof Heart� by The Silencers, which I think came from the Blues for Buddha album (1989ish) � so it looks like they re-recorded one of their earlier songs (if the chorus goes �in this town you need a bulletproof, shatterproof heart� then it is the same one). I must admit I�ve never heard of Fingerprintz and of the Silencers I now only have the above and the still fantastic A Letter from St. Paul album (1987ish). One of the few albums in my collection that I bought as a teenager that my wife thinks is good!

Yes,that is the same song re-recorded by the Silencers.Honestly - try to track down 'Distinguishing Marks' from 1980 on Virgin Records - Its class !
