Goldfish and coral?
4 Answers
Hi,
I found a lovely large piece of coral over the weekend at a jumble sale and want to put it into my goldfish tank.
The piece of coral tasted very salty though!
What can I do to this piece of coral that will allow me to put it in with my fish, and is coral goldfish friendly?
Thanks in advance.....Kind regards..auditt.xx.

I would soak the coral in cold water with a half strength bleach mix for a few hours. Then i would keep soaking in cold, clean tap water for a week,,,,,changing the water twice a day,
After that, it should be fine. If the coral gets dirty and covered in algea, repeat with the bleach.
