there was an awards show fairly recently where gilmore and mason turned up but waters was in italy.there was definitely an atmosphere between them(waters was on a live link) and a difference of opinion about the band too !

Only they know. David Gilmour is said to be against all the hassle that a new album and your will create, and he is just about to tour a new solo album, so I think the chances are slim at best.

I'm pitching for an interview, and I will ask him if I get it, and post here - promise!

If Dave Gilmour is about to release a new album then surely to increase its sales he should recruit Nick Mason to play bongos on one track and Rick Wright to overdub a bit of synthesizer on another then Hey Presto he could release it as a Pink Floyd album. That's the gamble he tried with Momentary Lapse of Reason, wasn't it?

I personally think that they will do one last major tour but i am not sure whether it will be to promote an album at all. I would be and i am sure loads of other people would be very happy indeed just to see them perform the old classics which is what i love them for. It wont be this year as Andy says Dave is about to realease his new solo album and tour as well so the earliest would be next year now i reckon. It would be great if they did! keep your fingers and toes crossed and then hope and pray to god that you can obtain a ticket!!! Oh and Andy please keep us up to date with any info that you hear!

tecnicaly, floyd never split. they are still playing but witout roger. but hopefully roger will do more stuff with them.
