Possible 70's Song...

Does anyone know of a song which I think was 70's (but could be 60's), from a female group (or female singer with back-up group), which I think contains the words "no don't lie" in the chorus. I think that's what is sung as it's hard to make out. The vocals remind me of the 3 degrees, but I'm sure it wasn't them.

Any comeback would be greatly appreciated!
