i-pod nano library

Does anybody know how to refresh the list of songs in the library on i-tunes for i-pods.

I have a nano, but have a load of old songs on i-tunes that I have deleted from my computer, but i-tunes does not recognise this. Also, I have to import any new files. Is there a refresh button. Any help would be grateful, Cheers BP

you should use iTunes for deleting and adding music to your library. Don't just remove the stuff in windows explorer.

You may need to just go and take the stuff off iTunes that you've deleted manually.
