I have watched a little of it this week and the whole sex therapist thing got me cringing...

Did anyone else think that an old lady, demonstrating how to give the perfect oral sex on the type of glass phallus that you see in pornos was inappropriate for 11am. Especially as she was using the words throb and shaft. Poor old Philip looked like he was going to die until he tried to break the tension by asking if it was blown glass, with a giggling fern it of course fell on deaf ears.

Im no prude but maybe a little early in the day to witness this.

I find the idea of any woman demonstrating that not only inappropriate (at any time) but quite ridiculous. The woman who is 'perfect' at it hasn't been born. Why not ask a proficient man (who actually has one of the objects in question) for true expertise?

I haven't seen the programme, but I'm with Quizmonkey - it's not an image i want to retain this close to tea-time!

No doubt the producers think they are being really right-on and 'adult' and all-inclusive with this item, but there are some things that you can demonstrate in a TV studio, and some which you can't - guess which this is?

What's next - 'perfect' cunnilinhus for amateurs? Let's not go there .... at least not on TV!

Not a prude by any stretch of the imagination but there are some things that really shouldn't be demonstrated on daytime TV. How to look for testicular/breast lumps is acceptable and helps save lives but there are certain acts of a sexual nature that really shouldn't be up for discussion/demonstration on daytime TV.

I don't watch daytime TV but I think I should probably start, sounds hilarious.

I personally wouldn't be offended by it on daytime TV nor would I be offended if my kids saw it as from what you say it's hardly pornography, but I would wonder why anyone needed someone else to tell them how to do it. Don't people talk to the partners they sleep with?

im at work so didnt see it. As a male I totally agree with quizmonkey. As we know how it feels wand what the best technique is, why not let the male species explain it, rather than some old bingo basher.

Typical! First bit of decent day-time telly in years, and I miss it! :-)
Is this anything to do with your regurgitation question on Body and Soul, Goodsoulette, or is this just a coincidence?

lol. Drusilla....maybe I should rethink, I now may have an excuse not to go there!!

I was not offended by it in the slightest, but she really was an old lady..

Drusilla that thought just came to me! Nice one Goodsoulette what a good excuse! ;) Who on earth was the old lady? I really hope it wasn't that agony aunt woman......people pay a lot of money on pay per view for that kind of thing.
methinks you all doth protest too much... perhaps you are harbouring secret desires for flesh of the older variety, but haven't come 'out' yet? lol ;o)
