Sorry, I know this is really sad, but hey I don't care. I saw an episode of the Golden Girls recently, and forgot how much I used to enjoy it. Okay, that part's bad. Anyway, was just wondering, does anyone know the name of the lady that sings the theme tune, 'thank you for being a friend'? I can find recordings of it, but it's a guy. If anyone could help I'd really appreciate it - I think she has a great voice.

The guy you are finding recordings of is Andrew Gold, who wrote the track. The singer of the theme tune is Cindy Fees, who also goes by the name of Cynthia Fee
