I think he's fabulous - a very underated musician an interpereter who was just getting a second lease of life when he tragically died.

I always cite his voice as an example of how you need to have suffered in order to convey real emotion in a song. Compare Witney Houston who thinks vibrato and volume convey passion, and Orbison who lost his wife in a bike accident, and a son in a house fire - they are on different planets.

So the short answer to your question is - Yes, I do.

i too think that roy orbison was a great singer, i have never seen any interviews of him but he looked a nice bloke.
