oh sorry qwerty you must have missed a question very similar to this a couple of weeks ago. The song is indeed The first time ever i saw your face written by ewan mccoll (kirsty's dad) but the singer of this version is still to be discovered. Though i have to say if it's not important and if you just want a version of the song it is very similar and i can only guess it was re-recorded for copyright purposes.
