Yes - and there are several long running sites which do just that - and more than just web based scams.

You ask if its a good idea so that people will be warned but the problem is people are too stupid to check. They get a 'virus warning' telling them to 'mail it to everyone in the mail list' (classic hoax sign) and they do so right away without checking.

 

The sites have been around ages - two minutes on Google would show them that they've been fooled.
