April Fool Headlines
I reckon we should have an April Fool Story each day just to keep us from going around the twist. Here is a couple. But they must come from National Papers
Thames Water has come up with a unique idea to stop so much water being wasted. They are going to reduce the water pressure to peoples homes. They apologise if some peoples showers or washing machines in high rise flats don't work and advise them to install pumps. This is despite the fact that Thames Water has filled in 6 reservoirs and built houses on them.
A shop keeper was dragged away by police for displaying 3 golliwogs in his shop window. Police have warned him that he faces prosecutuin under the Public Order Act and could be liable for a 1,000 fine. However it is not illegal to sell them, just to display them. People must feel alot safer in Bromyard where they have such hard a hard working and diligent police force.

Hi Hal, Read the original story but in yesterday's paper there was an article about the same police force ordering a printing company owner to take down notices he had pinned up after all his windows were broken. Admittadly the notices could be construed as inflammatory but as the owner said " it is nothing compared to the offence I felt when my windows were broken."
The article went onto talk about the original story regarding the shop keeper and made no mention of the police apologising. If you are right then I apologise although it did appear to be a bit over the top considering you can sell the dolls but cant put them on show.
