Is it just me or are they absolutely and completely annoying! All they do in videos is stare longingly at the camera and try to look sexy...i mean ok they are good looking chics but come across as total bimbo's. and that one with the red hair!!!!!!!! absolutely no personality, her eyes are dead and she looks so out of place in the band..what do you all think...and i bet all the guys think they're great!!!

I can appreciate a beautiful girl as much as any woman, and I can see why certain women are sexy (eg Angelina Jolie) but stick thin airheads with too much make-up just do nothing for me.

I've never thought that the red head (Nicola) fitted in with the rest of the band. Most blokes I know love them, it doesn't matter that they can't really sing.

Im a girl. I agree they can come across sometimes as bimbos but they are told how to act by the record company in order to promote material and it seems to work most of the time. If anyone watched Popstars they'd have seen these girls week after week singing live in front of millions of people and doing a fabulous job and also the 'behind the scenes' where we got to see their personality and they seemed like intelligent girls so maybe it isnt entirely their fault. I think most of their songs are good and they are pretty stunning. I also think that Nadine is an amazing singer, did anyone hear her singing 'Fields of Gold' on Popstars? i had goosebumps. I think the simple thing to do if you really dont like them is to turn the channel when they come on. at the end of the day they're only doing a job and they came from nowhere so i say good luck to them.

they have put out some good very pop songs. Nadine has the legs of a goddess and is a great singer. Sarah's dirty. Cheryl's sexy but a little too common (sorry, snob in me). Kimberley's attractive but nothing remarkable and i agree with you about Nicola - totally gormless. No star quality, no talent, just a fish out of water.

I don't tend to like any manufactured pop acts, but from a purely musical standpoint, I think they're actually among the least annoying of that genre.

I'm surprised anyone can be annoyed by Girls Aloud in a world that still contains Geri Halliwell and Westlife. :-)

im a girl and seriously they are clones, wheres the originality even if it was there i wouldnt be able to see it through the hair products and make-up! To think some 10 year olds look up to them and think thats what they have to look like and act like!
