They're playing festivals this year (Electric Picnic for example)
They've never been away, so no need for them to comeback. I went to see them live in Edinburgh 3 or 4 years ago and they were absolutely superb. Neils singing was alot better than I'd expected, and they did brilliantly updated versions of some of their classics. The PSBs remix of Madonna's recent single Sorry was the version to have (so much better than the album version). They are the subject of a show on Radio 2 this summer, and among others, Robbie Williams is working on a collaboration for the show.
Nothing to do with your question but i was in a pub a couple of weeks ago and both Pet Shop Boys were in there!
Going back to the original question, Pet Shop Boys have been going strong since 1984. Every time they release an album people say it's a comeback! They do normally leave about 2-3 years between them these days while they do other projects such as their recent soundtrack to 'Battleship Potemkin'.

Their new single 'I'm with Stupid' is out on 8 May, followed by the album 'Fundamental' on 22 May. They will be playing festivals and doing a world tour in the autumn. Unfortunately, the Robbie Williams collaboration is only a rumour.

Catch the video for 'I'm with Stupid', which stars David Walliams and Matt Lucas, on Channel 4, Friday night.

Ashdown.
