Saw the most recent KFC ad last night - the one for the "Mum's night off bucket" or something like that and was intrigued by some small print at the bottom of the screen which said "offer not available in Tyne Tees television region". Why not? What has Tyne Tees done to offend KFC??!

My guess is that they have left one area out to see how sales compare between the area that HAS had the advertising and those that have NOT.

So, for example, if the sales of KFC go up 10% in every area that has the advertising, but stays flat in Tyne Tees they know the advert is working.

I would assume they leave one area out each time, so it is not always Tyne Tees, so they can measure the success of each different type of advert.

I've notcied that it always says not available in tyne tees in adverts! It's soo weird!
Well least we know where not to move to- no KFC offers in Tyne Tees? Unthinkable!
Mums in tyne tees obviously dont need nights off - hardcore mums! Lol I guess it is to compare sales?
Hiya, yeah, I'm a mum from the Tyne-Tees area, or more specifically the Tees area!! And yes we are all hard core mums, no nights off for us, we're all 'ard northern lasses!! :-) xx
