Charity Pop Quiz help

Hi, I'm trying to complete a quiz sheet, I've got quite a few but am struggling with some. All answers are/were Pop stars/bands.

Examples of some I've got so far are: Sweet Infants (sugar babes) He May have Gone to weightwatchers (fat boy slim) and He may need sharpening (James Blunt). I'd appreciate help with:-

1.Sweet Mother of Jesus

2. Mountain Rescue Perhaps?

3. It's CRAZY

4. A rather refined gang

5. Explosive female

6. Jesus faced these in the wilderness

7. This group could be at the butchers or the bakers

8. Saturday night might be this by Sunday morning!

9. A clear wind

Great, keep thinking of the other two! However, I was involved in a similar thread about sweets last week and the Brazil answer is still bugging me. If you know anything about sweets, go to QUIZZES & PUZZLES and to MOST RECENTLY ANSWERED the thread is about 10 down posted by Kirstie C*
