whats the diffrence between Dance and Rave?

hey i was just wondering what the diffrence between dnace and rave were... oh and could you tell me what kind of music theese songs are? :

Tatu- Robot
Dj cammy - Dancing in the Dark
Gorrillaz- Feel good inc.

i know Gorrillaz isnt rave or dance but what are they?

Gorillaz is more Indie music then anything else

calling that type of music Dance music is quite vague, there's a lot of different types of dance/house music (obviously meaning music u can dance to) theres techno-dance, electro-dance, pop-dance etc.. Tatu is not classified as dance music at all, thats just Pop music. Dj Cammy is kind of electro pop but because of its lyrics its jus plain commercial dance, Gorillaz i'm not even gonna try and classify because its they are so eclectic and fall into many genre's. Rave music you could say is "proper dance" music! it generally has no lyrics and thumping bass beats with very well arranged synthesisers that people dance around to like idiots with glow sticks and whistles (sometimes taking recreational drugs lol). Tidy Boys, Frantic, Lisa Lashes are all hard-house djs that people rave to. Drum 'n' Bass could also be rave music, mc's like skiabdee, shabba and djs like nicky blackmarket. hope that helps. its fairly complicated to explain as you can tell.
