does anybody know where the video for there is alight was filmed and what happened to all the lovely boarded up houses that appear in it.

Correction - Salford.
The houses are in Ordsall and are at the back of Salford lads Club and one of the streets is called Coronation Street!
They were lovely houses and the council spent lots of money renovating them and they were smashing houses. Sadly the people that moved in had no respect for the houses and they went down hill very quickly. It is still a pretty scummy area but it is getting better and hopefully the houses will be better looked after in future.
