Hello, i'm trying to trace a book from my childhood - a compilation of ghost stories, possibly illustrated by Mervyn Peake. Anyone got good search sites for books? I've tried abe and fantastic fiction..... THANKS

thanks, dot.hawkes although i don't think MP wrote all the ghost stories in this one i'm hoping to find.

How about the Armada books of Ghost stories? There are a few on amazon.

Peake illustrated 'Thou Shalt Not Suffer a Witch and other stories' by Dorothy Haynes. Published by Methuen in 1949.
