Was anyone fortunate enough to see queen live in concert when Freddie was alive is it as good as it look on the dvds.

Also did anyone get to go to the live aid concert back in 86 ( i think)

I would of loved to of been old enough to go to a QUEEN concert

I saw them at the hammersmith odeon in the early seventies, just before they became really popular, and when they were still young and fresh. you could see the potential in freddie even then.

It is a wish of mine that if ever they invent time travel I could go back to the live concert in Wembley. I think it would be "magic". I always regret not being able to go the the real thing. I still regard Freddie's death as a loss to the world of music, he was gifted!.

I saw Queen in an open air concert in Slane, Co Meath, Ireland - I think 1984. The most amazing experience. He actually stopped singing at one point to stop people from crowding each other at the front 'cos even the water hoses weren't enough to keep the fans back!! They were supported by The Bangles (was asleep for them!!), Chris Rea and Fountainhead (who??). He had so much energy and a voice that could make you dance, sing and cry all at once. Unfortunately only got to watch Live Aid on TV.

I saw them twice - once on their very first tour, supporting Mott The Hoople (Freddie split his trousers!) and again at Bingley Hall in Stafford - 8,000 people.

First show they were very raw, but full of power, second they were top of their game, fabulous.

Unfortunately never got to see them live with Freddie as i was just too young...but have seen Brian May and Roger Tyalor in solo concerts which were all supurb ,but one of my big regrets that i didn't get to see Freddie live.

Andy, I was at the Stafford Bingley Hall gig as well, also saw them at Manchester Free Trade Hall in the early seventies, they did two shows on the same date, one at 6.00pm and one at 9.00pm, I think the ticket cost me �2.50.

Thats great you was very lucky to see him. Just a bit to young to go :(
