The tune they used to play when showing the gallery? It is currently being used on a tv ad. but I don't recall which.. Anyone know the name of this tune please?

There was that "leftbank" tune but I seem to remember "Cavatina" or "theme from The Deer Hunter" as a gallery tune.

"Cavatina" from The Deer Hunter was definitely used on one of the later Tony Hart series (I'd guess "Hart Beat"). I'm not sure whether it replaced "Left Bank Two" or if it was used alongside it.

You're quite right simon_says and jenstar. Cavatina was also used as a Gallery tune, and this is mentioned on the link I provided above, but Leftbank is probably the one most people would associate with Vision On.
