Can anyone remeber a 1970s petrol advert - Esso/BP/ Shell - that had a Tiger/ Husky running in snow with rock instrumental soundtrack?? I'd love to know what that music was , Ta, Brian

Was it 'Eye Of The Tiger' by Survivor, Brian? The end-shot was a close-up of the tiger's eye? Not sure about this one.

It was an Esso ad, featuring a tiger running on snow. It wasn't 'Eye of the Tiger', by the way. It was really cool music though and I'm searching for it myself. It had a kind of 'Alan Parsons Project' feel to it (clavinet, string machine, synth, drums building to a solid rock beat). I loved the ad, even bought the poster of the tiger that Esso sold at the time.

WG, your musical description sounds like King Crimson or even Tangerine Dream. Don't remember fully what the tune was now.
