gaps in sound when play from the net??

Hi

when i try to play the music of my mates on myspace it keeps stopping and starting - very annoying - does anyone know how i can make this play properly without having to download it.

there is also a site that has backing music for songs - the idea is that you record yourself singing directly then save it and it appears on the site - i don't want to do that - i just want to save the music to my hard drive - anyone know a way to do this? it also won't play properly and stops and starts. (my mate likes to hold parties and have karaoke so these would be great for that)

i am on aol dial up, 56k, 512ram, 1GB processor.

any ideas

You've answered your own question - you are on dial up. Music/video streaming is really only any good on a Broadband connection.
