Here's the deal. What is this song. I'm thinking between 1996-1997. It was a dance track, with a woman singing. She did not actaully sing anywords she jus sang
oohh nan nan ooohh nan nan nay nay oh nan nan oohh nan nan
over and over again. It was an excellent song, i just don't know what it was called or who it was by. Anybody know??
Are you sure there were absolutely no words? It sounds like a song I know but that did have the lines 'my lovers got no money, he's got his..' but she doesn't say it very often and she does the whole Oooh, nin, nan noey (paraphrasing) thing quite a lot.
Thanks for the suggestions guys, but I know these songs and they are not it.
I'm pretty sure there were no other lyrics, just this chick paraphrasing. It wasn't a huge pop song, it was a little more obscure. I think it got more airplay on Irish Radio stations than on British.
come to think of it I think it was a dutch DJ, but I may be wrong.
Dancing Doris I could kiss you. You've have pointed me in the right direction. This is not the exact song but the female chanting in it is ssssooooo strkingly similair that it has to be by the same group, twenty 4 seven. You cannot believe how happy I am to have this info. You complete me
I FOUND IT!!!! Ok, in 1999 twenty 4 seven released a song call `Ne Ne', It had a sample of the chick singing on it!! After some further research I found out that LA STYLE also used it in a song in 1992 called I'M RAVING. THIS is the version that I was looking for, but apparently the song was originally done by N.U.K.E. and is called NANA. I have yet to find that version of the song. But THANK YOU Dancin' Doris for pointing me in the right direction. I thought it was a lost cause!!! Yeah!
