This must have been an oddity for anyone under thirty! Hazy memories of teenage lust collided with the reality that they were a little Galumphing at times!

I was always rather keen on the exotic looking one in Legs and Co myself!

Would a Pans People Act work on TV today? Or their male equivalents?

Pans People were fantastc ...

I think that it wouldn't work today because most of the acts strut around with their ''bits'' hanging out anyway..

background dancers wouldn't be that noticeable..although some people still use dancers ...Madonna springs to mind

Ahh, Pan's People, Suzi Quatro, Debbie Harry, Olivia NJ., Lindsay Wagner (The Bionic Woman). I could chart my sexual awakening with that lot, were I so inclined. Hazy recollections of watching Pan's People - I seem to recall them doing a routine in bikinis to Typically Tropical's "Barbados", which never seems to crop up on these programmes for some reason - but, watching the programme last night, they were a RIGHT sexy ensemble, in spite of their perceived terpsichorean inadeqacies. Or maybe partly because of them, who knows?
