I have recently been pointed in the direction of the band ELO, and am wondering what the lyric is in the chorus of this song... seems to be 'Groose!!!' or 'Brrruce!!!' but a lot of lyrics sites on the net disagree with each other or just have a ? in. Anyone know for sure?

Not 100% but I always thought it was Prrroust, as in the author.

I thought it was goose; as he, Jeff Lynne, was expressing his preference for a feather filling for his pillow and didn't want down (usually duck) but goose. 'Don't bring me down, -Goose!' ;-)

Haha I can preach to the world about how amazing the word Knuzden is! knuzden? what/where is knuzden? and how do you pronounce it? is it a silent K "nuzden" or pronounced as in "canoe"?

aaaaaah.... just had another dose of it from my media player - it DOES sound like Jeff is singing "Bruce", now that you mention it. Anyway at least you know now......

Yup yup. And yep, thanks, i know now. Knuzden is a place, pronounced "nuzden" that actually exists, and the name is just totally amazing. I think the actual town is a dump but i'm just impressed by the name. Jus search for it in google or something.

It's definitely "groose". Always wondered what the heck "groose" was. I recall having an argument with my father in 1979 about this issue, he thought it must be some sort of a drug.
