How many copies of a single or album have to be sold for it to be platinum selling?

The rules governing the award of silver, gold and platinum status have recently altered, and the new tarrifs are as follows - For singles, shipment of 200,000 copies gives Silver Disc status, 400,000 gives Gold Disc Status, and 600,000 copies shipped assures Platinum level. For albums, 60,000 copies shipped means Silver, 100,000 copies makes Gold, and 300,000 copies reaches Platinum.
