Any CSI fans out there - i personally am hooked!
Just sat here watching CSI Las Vegas series (first episode entitled Revenge is best served cold) and who should have been casted in the small role of a drag racer type but future CSI Danny Messer from CSI New York!!
He pulls up in a big SUV type blaring out music!! How strange he should turn up later as a reformed bad boy!!
CSI also happens to have so many good looking men - las vegas has warick, nick and greg!! miami had speedle untill the killed him off (i still struggle to talk about this without tears!) and there is the beatuiful danny in New York - how sexy is his accent!!!

Incidentally - i was intrigued when i caught the pilot on DVD - the whole Team Dynamic is Different. Captain Brass is in charge and is VERY shouty. Gil is just a Lab Nerd in this episode. The Producers changed the roles for the next episode and put Gil in charge. ( A clue as to this might be om the credits - Producer-William Peterson! )
Gil is such an intriguing character and William Peterson plays him with measured authority. Talking of the Manhunter connection , the Villain turns up in an episode ( nt sure which series ) as a Las Vegas Magician.
Kathrine is a little implausible at times - turning up at crime scenes in tight tops and designer Gear .
Sarah has turned out to be an intriguing character what with all her problems and crush on Gil ( Trying to avoid Spoilers! ) She is not obviously attractive ( unlike some of the women in the spinoffs )
Warwick and Nick are the sparring Jocks - They seem to have contests to see who can take their shirts off most ( which I'm sure is very nice for the ladies! ) I like Nick - he looks like he comes from a fashion catalogue and isnt the subtlest actor in the world. Check out interviews with George Eads - he is VERY Texan in accent when not in character.
Greg is ok - nice to see his hair is a little more in control. I would like to see Archie more - he seems like a Character that could be expanded plus he's a Science-Fiction Nerd!
Captain Brass turns up as a sort of Greek Chorus at times altho they occasionally give him issues ( Runaway Daighter , Poor aim ...)
Havent seen Season 5 yet - waiting to catch it on DVD when the price is a little lower.

I love CSI Las Vegas and my favourite character is the increasingly complex Sarah, who I think is gorgeous in that girl next door kind of way. Have you noticed how long her legs are?
I'm afraid I cannot stand the Miami version. Watching Horatio adopt a pose from the Sooty school of acting before removing his sunglass makes me laugh. Gil Grissom could eat him for breakfast, even if he does have dodgy knees.

i agree with airbolt - i too loved the massive shift of personalities etc following the pilot! Brass is great in his current character and i'm glad they changed him from the arogant shouter he was in the pilot.
Sometimes i find catherine arogant and i preferred it when they were one team instead of catherine being in charge of the boys - i think nick and warricks relationship is fabulous and loved how concerned everyone was in the grave danger episodes.
i really like sarah but her voice grates on me sometimes!!
As for the spin offs i love them all - i think mack taylor is great and have loved him in the films i've seen him in - i really like danny and the cop in the new york epiosdes.
i enjoy miami very much but it is my least favourite of the two inspite of th fact i think horatio and the ME are so caring and she talks to the bodies when they are on her table. I was devestated when they killed off Tim Speedle though and planned to boycott but it pulled me back in as always!
i like how they bring the smaller characters more and more into the stories and agree with airbolt yet again that Archie is a great character and the technology he has is fascinating although i would love to know how much is real! I also like the gun guy - i forget his name!
