Has there ever been a "SGT Peppers Lonely Hearts Club band album" vinyl cover that was manufactured with a spine wider/thicker than the standard size, which also includes the words "Patent Pending" or "applied for"?

I own a Parlophone, 1967 "SGT Peppers Lonely Hearts Club Band" LP. (PMC 7027). with sold in UK label text, which comes in a G and L laminated sleeve and cut out inserts. Matrix No: XEX 637-1. Stamper: LO. From all the information I have, I am certain this is the 1st ever pressing, but I have quite rudely been informed that this is not so. I have carried out plenty of research and can not find any information that states that an earlier cover exists or was manufactured to different dimensions, i.e. a wider/thicker spine.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

There's a copy on sale in e-bay at the moment on offer from Eil-Esprit for 400. They give lots of info in the description. Go to Music - albums/lps.
