Having loaded all my music onto my computer via various gadgets, I'm left with a load of Classical and pop LP's. Apart from Amazon and eBay, can anyone suggest what to do with them? Also, I've decided to get rid of my VHS movies, deciding to stick with DVD's from now on. Anyone want some films?
If your VHS tapes include anything taped from the telly...old shows no longer on anymore then maybe you should YouTube them for the sake of popular culture.
If you have any records by Virginia Astley/Stereolab/Vashti Bunyan then I'll er, take them off your hands!!
Charity shops are the obvious place for old vinyl - especially Oxfam - as they have volunteers with the knowledge to pick and select ones which will sell.
Or you could go all 1978 and turn your vinyl into ashtrays!
Please don't turn your vinyl into ashtrays - unless they are really terrible bands. I collect vinyl and it makes me cringe when I see them ruined or thrown away. Most large towns or cities have vinyl shops now so if you can find one they will buy them from you.
Otherwise, do a car boot sale or give them to a charity shop.
Out of interest Mabelcat - how do you put something like that on to YouTube? Is it easy to do?
