I dont suppose its Piero Umiliani,m the muppets theme, me na ma ne????
Sounds like a line from Sinnerman by Nina Simone. Where did you hear it?
The Piero Umiliani song and the muppets theme are one and the same - just very different versions.
Yes i know that but they wont know the name may just know the tune.
Sorry, misread your answer
Everybody sang it. It's very catchy.

But Piero Umiliani wrote it (yes, someone actually *wrote* Mah Na Mah Na!) and had the hit. The Muppets certainly popularised it in Britain, though - Umiliani's single had flopped several times here before the Muppets did the song on The Muppet Show. Also the Muppet Show album featuring the song went to number one at the same time as Umiliani finally had his hit.

Thaks all for putting me out of my misery!
mah-na, mah -na was actually from a swedish porn film soundtrack! Umiliani was a composer of incidental music.
