And anything by Carlos Gardel, the Carter Family and pre-Atlantic Aretha Franklin. And Calexico's latest. And the Last Waltz.

What do you mean "not bad for a 16yo"? Are you quoting music that you think other people will think is cool and by extension you are cool for listening to it? I was slated for saying I quite liked steps on here once but I don't give a stuff...your music choices should be about what you find you like or that moves you not to score any brownie points from anyone else.....

sft42 - ahhh, yes Beth (I prefer the eponymous album)......and then there's a choice of Lucinda Williams to wash over you.

I guess my choice lies in the fact that none of the aforementioned albums has a duff track (IMO) which is rare - apart from Rumours by Fleetwood Mac......
