Seriously though, are clouds drawn towards the sun, you know water, loike droplets being attracted to the sun as they evaporate, or summat?

seriously no. I think this is a psychological question. You would not really mentally notice the many hours when the sun is not behind a cloud, you only mentally notice when it goes behind "a little tiddler" (usually for 5 minutes max) and assume the tiddler has targetted your portion of rays. Now - if the cloud remains in front of the sun all day, be very afraid! :-) Hope that explains
