soundtrack to your life
3 Answers
Here's one for all you ABers. I know it's soppy and sickening but I'm 3 months into the best relationship of my life and instead of having "our song" me and my fella have "our album", the soundtrack to our relationship. It's "Laid" by James, partly because we both have really good memories from the James era and partly because the songs are spot on regarding certain aspects of our relationship so far. What I want to know is, do any of you guys have an album which is the soundtrack to your realtionship, or to any other part of your life? Discuss!!!!

I love all sort s of stuff that Mr Sunflower likes too but when I met him 11 years ago I had put together a Neil Young collection for my walkman(!) and I listened to it while I missed him when I travelled the states by Greyhound bus and we'd pass the battered tape between us on our travels.
When we got married we had some of the tracks at the wedding and I still think of us when I hear Neil Young.

I have "The Good Will Out" by Embrace, which reminds me of a terrible terrible break-up I went through about 8 years ago. There was little communication on his part, so I really had no idea how he was feeling, and the split came as a real shock. But the songs on this CD seem to have been written by a man going through the same dilemma my ex was, so it's oddly comforting to listen to them and remember that he wasn't a monster, he was just a boy who didn't want what I wanted and who couldn't express himself, and so led me on without meaning to.
As much as I hate the ex, and the CD makes me sob, I'll never part with it.

My song to my fella is the reason by hoobastank, becuase he came into my life during a bad time and i started of being quite nasty towards him but he helped me through it and just when it says i found a reason for me to change who i use to be and the reason is you, we both always have a little tear in our eyes, but its so true how songs can relate to real life at times,
It is quite sad that i do actually have a playlist called sammy loves craig on my ipod lol
