Funny story....and true too!

My friend married an American guy called Randy and proceeded to have two kids, both boys. She could never figure out why, whenever she gave Xmas/Birthday cards to family and friends that they almost peed themselves laughing.....the reason? She always signed 'em.....

"Randy Andrea and the boys.............." !

Boo is an ever helpful presence here... just leave her fondant fancies on the side over there >>>>>>

And I think you should as now you can walk much easier thanks to her bricking.

Ahhhh CD knows me so well......lol

I'm a bit sketchy on the Bromide thing to be honest, but if I remember what i heard correctly (or else its a myth, no idea really!) it used to be put into`soldiers cups of tea and it made them lose their 'urges'

aahh... better than carrying two bricks around...
First, several sources suggest that randy "wanton, lustful", which originally meant "having a rude, aggressive manner", and which was, curiously, applied exclusively to beggars, derives from rand "to rave, to rant". Rand comes from a Flemish word, randen, a variant form of ranten "to rant". The adjective randy first appears at the end of the 17th century, spelled randie. The shift in meaning went from "rude, aggressive" to "disorderly, unruly" to "wanton, lustful" in less than 200 years, so that the sexual meaning had made it into the written record by 1847.

Another source has the rand derivation influenced by Hindustani randi-baz "a lecher".

BOO, I had a vasecomy on monday, you coukld have saved me a fortune on my BUPA payments had I known about your testicle juice stopping technique
