18th birthday party

My 18th birthday's coming up soon and I'm having a disco type do. Are there any cool ideas anyone has to make it memorable? I thought maybe those wristband glowsticks, lots of disposable cameras, helium balloons... ??
And can anyone recommend a really good dj for the buckinghamshire region?
