Westlife - The Rose is No 1 in the single charts this week .. Is there anyone out there who is prepared to admit to having actually bought this single or paid for the download?

I had it bought for me. I really liked it at first but now i realise its yet another cover so im unsure
still it shouldn'y be number one x

Sorry I have to admit to being a Westlife fan! But I don't think this is a good cover. I prefer the Bette Midler version!

So in answer to the question no I haven't bought or downloaded it.

The Karaoke Kids are closing in on The Beatles' total of number ones - an utter travesty IMO. No doubt when they get there (and I'm afraid it's only a matter of time), they'll think they are as popular as the Fab Four - never mind that sales of all their number ones combined probably won't match those of Hey Jude alone.

So many talented bands don't get a look-in chartwise, and this bunch of simpering dim bulbs get yet another number one. Gaaaahh, where's my gun?

I don't like the westlife version at all I have copies of Michael Ball Singing it he released it for charity (ROC) and Elaine Paige they are both as lovely as the origanal
