what is the title of the song in the m & s advert sung by bryan ferry ( roxy music ) the one with twiggy modeling clothes

Dead right eastender it is Glass of Champagne by Sailor. (Who??) I thought it was Ferry/Roxy. So, who copied whom??

Roxy came first and Sailor a couple of years later , but Roxy were always a more sophisticated sound , while Sailor were still at excellent poppier band. Their only other hit was I think "Girls , Girls,Girls" but their "Greatest Hits album is worth tracking down (its on the link above)

As fory Roxy Music all their albums are worth getting , and as well as Ferry also featured the excellent Brian Eno , Phil Manzanera, Andy Mackay and Paul Thompson as well as various bass guitarists
