I am trying to find where Jinny was born, she had UK Chart entries in the 1990's with Wanna Be With You and Keep Warm. Thanks for any help you can give me.

From what I can remember there were different girls who "played the part" as it were.

One of the girls was Carryl Varley who went on to host on Challenge TV and Quiz TV channels.

Carryl certainly was Jinny for a TOTP performance of Keep Warm, and she was once in the Line Up on "Never Mind the *********" for the panel to guess which one was Jinny.

I have 5 "Jinny" CD Singles in my vast collection.
3 of these have pictures of "Jinny" and show two very different ladies... these CD's are UK releases but are of Italian origin.
Jinny seems to have started in Italy, Carryl was the UK Jinny and I suspect she lip synched one of the italian ladies.
