Last night's episode of teachers had a rock/pop song I *think* from the 80s. I can't remember much about it except a) I liked it and b) it had some pretty cool power chords at the start. If anyone can reel off the songs from last nights prog I would be more than impressed/grateful !!!

I don't actually know which song you mean but I have found a tracklisting of the soundtrack to Teachers - series 2 so the song you're thinking of must be on it. You can buy it here http://www.c4shop.co.uk/indexteachers.cfm?af_id=53 Hate to say I told you so - The Hives. Empty at the End - The Electric Soft Parade. Lucky Charm - Apples in Stereo. Poor Misguided Fool - Starsailor. Doping for Gold - Preston School of Industry. Eight Track - Fonda 500. Value of Life - Cosmic Rough Riders. Distant Sunshine - Kid Galahad. We Can't Rewind - Feeder. Kit & Holly - Echoboy. Slack - Turin Brakes. You're my Queen - Mercury Rev. To You - I Am Kloot. Drop & Roll - Simian. Apple of my Eye - Ed Harcourt.
there was definately a song called 'Tiny Spark' by Brendan Benson, it's new but has some notes that sound vaguely glam rockish at the beginning
