Has anyone been to the Royal Albert Hall? I want to buy tickets online, but I am not sure about seating. Where is the best place to sit, in relation to the view, atmosphere and acoustics? Many thanks

its a pretty good view and sound wherever you sit, its quite small inside and you're very close to the action.
Here is the seating plan (although it can vary from show to show). As you can see it is a circular shape.

It is a beautiful building, but was designed before the full effects of acoustics were understood, so the sound has never been that great compared with a modern hall.

If you have vertigo be wary of going right "up top" - at the risk of overexaggerating it does feel like a bit of a cliff face - my friend had an urge to throw herself off like a lemming so they very kindly moved us to a box at the side of the stage - along with various other people who for whatever reason couldn't make it to their seat!
