You do what everybody else will do,.. go and buy them.
So doris you go and buy tickets for the free concert?
That's what I was going to say. Nice to see a serious question asked actually, something Doris isn't too good at... Sorry crowdpleeser I don't know the answer to your question but will see if I can find out.
crowdpleeser - look here and I hope it helps. http://www.itv.com/news/174672.html
Well J2buttons and PaulB, in my experience of these things, if there are tickets to be had for a free concert, you will find that someone, somewhere, has got some secreted away, so that when they are being sought they can be "sold" for olde englyshe poundes. It is called dishonourable, but that is what this great country of our is coming to. There is not a great deal of honour left in this country. Certainly today's news concerning our teflon Tony and co. bodes ill for role models.
You are a bit late I fear

Ten thousand tickets are available by calling 0870 511 2206. Callers will be asked to leave their name, address and postcode. Phone lines close at midnight on Wednesday 13 August.

Tickets will be allocated from a draw to be made on 14 August and only successful applicants will be notified by post by Saturday 23 August.

Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult. Calls to the hotline will be charged at a national rate and should not last more than two and a half minutes (mobile rates may vary).

Tickets are strictly on a one pair per person basis. Non-ticket holders will not be able to get into the square or view the concert from surrounding streets. Some roads will be closed in the area to help with crowd management and safety.

The square will be surrounded by 8ft-high steel fencing to meet health and safety requirements.
