definitely no lyrics as you say youve sung it to people ?

couple of suggestions from that era that contained sax are chad jackson(not an instrumental) 'hear the drummer(get wicked)' and candy dulfer with dave stewart(instrumental but a slow paced song) 'lily was here'

sorry i meant i hummed to people, i know the 2 songs you suggested and it's neither of them thanks for your help anyway ( there was also a dance with it at the time where you would jump forwards, backwards and turn to your right) but it could have been a reginal thing .. cheers dj fester
The only one I can think of is 'Garden Party' by Mezzoforte.
Hi,
I think it may be a song called the 900 number or something like that. The one I am thinking of made everyone jump, once, very slowly about 4 or 5 seconds apart. Have the 12 inch version in my garage somewhere and will have a look when I go down there.
Happy new year!
Have thought of the artist

The 45 King

If this is the one you are thinking of......
Could it be 'Jump' by House of Pain?
hear the drummer get wicked by Chad Jackson I reckon

You deserve stars, Mattk!
uUst to let you know DJ Fester if you have the classic cuts series from Mastermix it's on disc 32
I believe both of you were right. The original track was by Mark The 45 King - The 900 Number. Chad Jackson sampled the horn break for "Hear The Drummer Get Wicked", as he did with Chuck D from Public Enemy for the vocals.
