Can anybody please help me find out who sang this song (am not even sure if that's the title of the song). It was played a lot in the early nineties on Kiss 100 (when Kiss was mainly a soul station).

The original was done in the early 70s by Albert Hammond, but I think the version you're looking for is by a group called Tony! Toni! Tone!.
That Albert Hammond, incidentally, is the father of Albert Hammond Jr, mop-headed guitarist in The Strokes.
