I have been asked to research the quality of certain grand pianos with a view to our firm buying one. Where shall I start

Depends on what kind of sound and touch you're looking for, too. At the music college where I used to work, there were any number of Yamahas, more than a few Steinways, but the piano majors always wanted to perform on the two wonderful Bechsteins.

Its for a concert hall - I dont know why I have got the job - I know NOTHING about pianos - I just think they want some websites to have a look at - but the info on the Bernsteins is a help
