do any of you have any ideas on a suitable reading for my friends wedding, she isn't particularly religious, she is VERY soppy about romantic stuff, i'd quite like a poem but i'm finding it very difficult to find anything suitable, i'd like something modern with a bit of realism (!) (ie what a perfect couple they are and how well they will cope with the difficulties marriage sometimes brings)

The Apache Wedding Blessing is quite nice. Just Google those words and you will get results.

A shortened version follows -

Now you will feel no rain,
for each of you will be shelter for the other.
Now you will feel no cold,
for each of you will be warmth for the other.

Now there is no more loneliness.

Now you are two persons,
but there is only one life before you.

May your days together be good and long
upon the earth.
