I came across this live recording and have been trying to trace the singer.

It is the one labeled as a Tori Amos cover of Wild Horses.

It's not Tori Amos - although you can see why it might be mistaken. Its has a different piano style and the singers voice is louder, deeper and more "rockier". Nor is it Charlottle Martin, Mazzy Star, the Sundays, or any other person people have suggested.

I really love it but I don't know who it is?

Hi, I have a strong suspicion it is Sheryl Crow as she did an acoustic version with piano.
Or possibly Sarah McLachlan
I have not listened to your link because my work pc has no speakers, but I have a fantastic version of Wild Horses, and it is by The Sundays.
I haven't listened either but Alicia Keys did a version too.
Sundays did a great cover

I like the Sheryl Crow theory, and it certainly sounds more like her than it does Tori Amos - except that Sheryls voice isn't so strong live (powerful I mean) so I'm not 100% sure - but it's certainly the best answer I've heard so far . . .

Chantal Kreviazuk was another good answer - but again, this singer can really belt them out ...

In like the Sundays version too . .

This is a woman and a piano - not Aicia Keys and definately not Sarah McLachlan.

I wonder whether we'll ever know, now . . .
