Does the Top of the Pops recording of BCR's first hit, Keep On Dancing still exist? This dates back to 1971 or 1972, two or three years before they started to have hits on a regular basis, and before they adopted the 'Tartan' image.

What was the band's line up then?

Thanks in advance, I'm restricted to library computers at the moment.

I was a BCR freak in my youth and whatI didn't know about them wasn't worth knowing birthdays, shoe size , the whole caboodle, but thirty years on I am struggling. I know at one time the lead singer of Pilot was in the BCR line up, they ended up having a no 1 hit with "January" just before the Rollers got to no 1 with Bye Bye Baby in Feb 75. I think Stuart Wood (Woody) was the last to join the line up as we know it
"Keep on Dancing" was a pretty decent effort.....
I've wanted to see this clip for years, apparently they were wearing dinner suits and bow ties! Sorry, don't know if it exists though.
The only one I have ever seen was in a segment of 'Shang a Lang'.

What a fab TV show..and a marvellous band :o)
Spudqueen - I can't swear to this 100%, but I've an idea they were t-shirts printed as dinner jackets. The seventies was such a stylish decade, wasn't it?
