Yes.
I find u can find a good rythem if u lay flat on ur back and then just strum it gently. It goes a bit fast and a bit slow depending on how into it u r.
Sorry I meant Rythm!!!
Strumming is the most important part of playing the guitar!
You can read about it and talk about it all you like, but it wont make any difference as you need to "Feel and Hear it"

I know exactly the correct strumming pattern. I am not embarrassed in the slightest to show my skills of in front of an audience. I practise on a regular basis and if you practise on a regular basis too, you'll soon hit the right notes.
You grip your left hand on, your right hand off. On off on off repeat until you joff. You do the okey cokey and you fire it up her back, turn it round onto her face 'til you hear that *splat*

Hope this helps.
Now are you strumming left handed or right? Keeping the palm open or closed? Little pinkie extended as if you're sipping tea? Is it a slow strum you're after? All this can make a difference you know.
