Does anyone know did QUEEN'S OF THE STONEAGE write the song "Ode to Clarissa" or was it a cover version and if they wrote it does anyone know where you can get it?

"Ode To Clarissa" was written by Josh Homme and Nick Oliveri of QOTSA.

Thanks for your answer it must be on the special edition album thou cos its not on the one i have.

It is not part of any UK version (standard or special) of the "Rated R" CD but was included in the Japanese release of that album. It does exist on the UK vinyl version of that album, renamed "Rated X".

It is also a track on the CD single EP "The Lost Art Of Keeping A Secret" and on the bonus DVD included with the Limited Edition CD of "Songs For The Deaf".
